We are 100 percent convinced the Pittsburgh Steelers will select a quarterback in the 2025 NFL draft. The franchise has shown a great deal of interest in a wide variety of quarterback prospects, from first-round options to day-three sleepers. Here's how we would rank the Steelers five best quarterback scenarios for this draft.
Ohio State QB Will Howard in the 4th round
We love the tools that Will Howard brings, along with his great size and athleticism. He seems like a smart quarterback and capable of learning from a veteran.
Missouri QB Brady Cook in the 6th round
Similar to Howard, we see a ton of potential in Cook and getting him in the sixth is a bargain.
Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart in the 1st round
If the Steelers are going to draft Dart, it will have to be in the first. Dart is more pro-ready than Cook or Howard but I'm not sure his ceiling is higher.
Alabama QB Jalen Milroe in the 3rd round
Milroe is criminally underrated right now. He is going to need a year or two to work on his skills in the pocket and vision but in the third, he's a steal.
Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders in the 1st round
There's almost no chance Sanders falls to the Steelers but if so, we could see Pittsburgh taking a shot on him.
