OHSAA announces 2025 spring state tournament sites, dates: What to know

The Ohio High School Athletic Association has announced sites and dates for its spring sports state tournaments, and while venues are largely the same as last year, tournament expansion has prompted a handful of other changes.

The baseball state finals remain at Canal Park in Akron. Championship games also will return to Historic Crew Stadium for boys and girls lacrosse, Akron’s Firestone Stadium for softball, The College of Wooster for boys tennis and Wittenberg for boys volleyball.

The state track and field meet is back at Ohio State’s Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium after construction prompted a one-year move to Dayton’s Welcome Stadium.

Olentangy Liberty boys lacrosse players celebrate last year's Division I state championship with fans at Historic Crew Stadium. The lacrosse finals will return to that site this spring.

Track and field will expand from three to five divisions beginning next year.

Baseball’s expansion from four to seven divisions means six semifinals will be played at Canal Park. The other eight semis will be held less than half an hour south at Thurman Munson Stadium in Canton.

All 21 softball state tournament games — seven finals and 14 semifinals — will be at Firestone Stadium.

Here is the full schedule for OHSAA spring state tournaments:
