NFL free agency: Buffalo Bills' Brandon Beane wanted to re-sign Mack Hollins
Mack Hollins is gone but not for a lack of trying.
Hollins was a one-year wonder for the Buffalo Bills during the 2024 season. He left during free agency, signing with the New England Patriots.
While never a true No. 1 receiver in Buffalo, Hollins made his impact despite only playing one season with the Bills.
His personality is what won him over with fans in western New York.
While now an AFC East rival, Buffalo wanted Hollins back. General manager Brandon Beane said exactly that during his recent free agency press conference:
Brandon Beane on the Mack Hollins departure:

Hollins recorded 31 catches for 378 yards and a career-high five touchdowns for the Bills in 2024.
Perhaps there could be a future for Hollins in Buffalo.
Bills Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2025 offseason.
