New Orleans Saints showing interest in TCU offensive tackle

The New Orleans Saints local pro day has recently passed, having been held on March 29, and with that, they had the opportunity to meet with prospects from all around the nearby region. Lots of prospects were in attendance for the event, and the staff got a chance to meet with many different players.

One of the players the Saints invited to their local pro day was TCU offensive lineman Bless Harris, which he shared in an interview with Justin Melo of The Draft Network.

"I met with a handful of teams at the Tropical Bowl. I had strong meetings with the Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns, and I met with the Indianapolis Colts twice. I also have invites to the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints local days," Harris told Melo.

Harris started his career at Lamar University, staying there for two seasons before moving to Florida State for another two seasons, and then to TCU for his 2024 season. In 2024 he was productive, allowing only two sacks and 14 pressures in 434 pass blocking reps. He has played both guard and tackle in his collegiate career, but primarily played at left tackle.

Kent Lee Platte put together the Relative Athletic Score for Harris, which would come out to be an 8.55, primarily having issues with the composite explosion testing as his vertical jump score of 26 inches is less than optimal. Other than that his athleticism is solid or above average, however, which is a good sign. He is definitely someone to keep an eye out for when the Saints are up to pick in the 2025 NFL draft.
