A Nebraska volleyball legend has been named the Most Valuable Player of an American professional volleyball league. Kelsey Robinson Cook was named the inaugural MVP of League One Volleyball.
Robinson Cook plays for LOVB Atlanta, who ended the regular season as the No. 1 seed with a 13-3 record. She led the league in pass efficiency and finished second in digs. She also finished second on the team in kills and second in LOVB for aces.
Robinson Cook started her college career at the University of Tennessee before transferring to Nebraska for her senior season. In that one season, she was named the 2013 Big Ten Player of the Year and was a 2013 AVCA First-Team All-American.
The former Husker has also had a successful career on the international stage. She is a three-time Olympic medalist with a bronze medal from the 2016 games, a silver medal from the 2024 games, and a gold medal from the 2020 games.
