Michigan State baseball has themselves a certified stud in junior pitcher Joseph Dzierwa, who is arguably the best pitcher in the Big Ten, if not the nation. The 6-foot-8 lefty from Haskins (OH) is now getting the national recognition that he deserves.
So far in 2025, Dzierwa has made seven starts, and he has been absolutely dominant in those starts. Posting a 5-0 record with a 1.24 earned run average (ERA) and a 0.867 walks hits innings per (WHIP). Those numbers are good for one of the best totals in the nation.
We do know one thing for certain, though, is the ERA that Dzierwa has posted is a top five ERA in the nation for pitchers with a minimum of 30 innings pitched.

If Dzierwa holds pace, he is certainly lined up for a host of accolades and awards after the season, while bolstering his draft stock for the upcoming 2025 MLB Draft.
