March Madness bracket 2025: Updated Sweet 16, Elite Eight schedule, TV channels, times
The bad news about the first two rounds of the 2025 NCAA tournament? There weren't a ton of the patented upsets that we all love.
The good news? We're in for an amazing second weekend with loaded matchups across the board.
Of the 16 teams remaining, 15 of them are inside the top 25 of the Kenpom rankings. The only team outside the top 25 is Arkansas at 36, and with John Calipari in his first year in Fayetteville, who can really call that a surprise?
Locally, both Michigan and Michigan State took care of business in the first and second rounds, beating UC San Diego and Texas A&M and Bryant and New Mexico respectively. Now, both teams will head to Atlanta for tough Sweet 16 matchups in the South region, with the Spartans facing Ole Miss first on Friday and then the Wolverines taking the floor after for a matchup with No. 1 overall seed Auburn.

As for the Final Four and national championship game, we know the dates, times and channels, but not the teams. The Elite Eight schedule will be released at the end of this week.
