KONAWA — The Konawa High School baseball team notched its 12th win of the spring with a convincing 10-2 victory over local foe Stratford in a Tuesday night home game.
The Tigers, ranked No. 6 in Class 2A-2, improved to 12-3, while the Bulldogs dropped to 3-8. It has been quite the turnaround for the Konawa club, which finished 4-14 last spring and 9-11 in 2023.
Coach Tyler Douhit’s club is set to host Wewoka tonight and Stonewall Friday night for another local matchup.
Meanwhile, the Bulldogs welcome Coalgate to town Friday night.
