BENTON — Chris Griffin is the new athletic director for Fairfield schools.
The Fairfield School Board unanimously approved the hire on Wednesday.
Griffin, who starts working at Fairfield this spring, comes to Fairfield after being the middle school AD at Goshen.
Before working in Goshen, Griffin served as the elementary AD for the Zeeland Schools up in Michigan.
As a student, Griffin was an All-State athlete in baseball and football at Edwardsburg High School.
After high school, Griffin played baseball at Grace College.
Griffin replaces Nick Jones, who has been Fairfield’s interim AD since September.
