RIESEL — The Dawson girls track & field team that made history last week when they won the District 18-2A title, aren't slowing down.
They took the momentum of last week's resounding victory and built even more momentum Thursday in Riesel, where the Lady Bulldogs qualified five young ladies for next week's Regional Meet in Palestine.
The top four in each event moved on to the Regional Meet.
Abby Hooks took third in the high jump and Lauren Hooks finished fourth to each earn a path to Palestine and Jailah Wilson took third in the 100-meter dash to qualify for the Regional Meet.
Chole Boatright earned a ticket to Palestine in the shot put and Chloe Riley finished fourth in the discus to qualify for the Regional Meet.
