Josh Johnson will depart Baltimore but remain in the area after signing a one-year deal with the Washington Commanders.
Johnson has played for 14 NFL teams and was previously with the Washington Football Team in 2018.

A cousin of running back Marshawn Lynch, Johnson played college football for the San Diego Toreros and was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL draft. During his career, he was primarily a backup. Still, he has started games for the Buccaneers, Ravens, and Washington and played with the Browns, Bengals, Jets, and 49ers.
