Portland Trail Blazers rookie Donovan Clingan registered his seventh double-double on Friday and moved atop the franchise leaderboard in one key category.
Clingan produced 14 points, 15 rebounds, including four on the offensive end of the court, one assist and one blocked shot in a 103-86 loss against the Golden State Warriors. He went 7-of-13 from the field in 27 minutes in his 36th start of the season.
The seventh pick reached 209 offensive rebounds on the season with the performance, surpassing Sam Bowie for the most by a rookie in franchise history. He ranks 12th among all players in the league in that category.

Clingan is averaging 6.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks on 53.7% shooting from the field in 66 appearances with the Trail Blazers. He is eighth in the league in blocks (108) and first among all first-year players in only 19.7 minutes per game.
The 7-footer has hauled in at least 10 rebounds in a game 19 times. He is one of 17 players in the league to grab 20 rebounds in a game this season, which are the most by any rookie, surpassing his previous high of 19 set on Nov. 19 against the Houston Rockets.
With one game remaining, Clingan will look to finish off his rookie campaign on a high note after scoring in double figures in three straight games for the first time. He has had dominant stretches throughout the year and looks to be a franchise cornerstone moving forward.
