Michigan State hockey has had a ton of movement within its roster, reloading for another run at a national title in 2025-26. A part of the major movement made in East Lansing was goaltender Trey Augustine announcing that he was returning to MSU for his junior year, and subsequently backup goalie Luca Di Pasquo entered the transfer portal.
Now, it appears that Di Pasquo has found his new home, staying in the Big Ten Conference. Di Pasquo has made his commitment to join the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
In two seasons with MSU, he played in 11 games, going 9-1-1 with a 1.94 goals against average and a .925 save percentage. The Livonia (MI) native would have been in line to start, but with Augustine coming back, it was mutually decided that the transfer was the best decision.
Looks like MSU transfer goaltender Luca Di Pasquo is staying in the Big Ten and heading to Minnesota for next season, according to his Instagram.
