Michigan State has had a wild day in regards to the transfer portal, with three major basketball moves being made, but now, the football program has been affected by a departure to start the month of April. Reserve defensive back Caleb Coley has announced that he is entering the NCAA transfer portal, departing the Michigan State football program.
A member of the 2022 recruiting class, Coley was a middle of the road 3-star that the Spartans had flipped from Vanderbilt. He spent three years with the Spartans before making this decision.
In his three years with the program, Coley played in 10 games recording five tackles and one tackle for loss. He was not someone in line for a starting gig, but was going to be a major player in competing for playing time.
A native of Warner Robbins, Georgia, there is no indication where he would be making his next stop at.
