Former Spartan Xavier Booker expected to transfer to another Big Ten school

One team has emerged as the reported favorite to land Michigan State basketball transfer forward Xavier Booker.

247Sports college basketball insider Travis Branham has submitted a crystal ball prediction for Booker to land at a Big Ten foe: UCLA. Branham entered a crystal ball prediction for the Bruins to land a commitment from Booker.

Booker is a former five-star prospect in the 2023 class, and is one of the highest-rated prospects to ever sign with Tom Izzo and the Spartans. Booker, however, has struggled to see extended playing time since coming to Michigan State.

Booker only started five games and averaged 11.2 minutes per game across his two seasons with the Spartans. He averaged 4.3 points and two rebounds per game during his Spartan career.

There is no known time table on when Booker may announce his transfer portal commitment. But it at least sounds like he is close to making a decision and will be heading to another Big Ten team soon.
