Final Four basketball appearances all time for every SEC school

The 2024-25 men's basketball season will conclude with the NCAA Tournament Final Four, April 5-7, at Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

The first NCAA men's basketball tournament was won by Oregon in 1939. UCLA (11), Kentucky (8), North Carolina (6), UConn (6), Duke (5), Indiana (5), Kansas (4) and Villanova (3) have won three-plus national championships all time.

Kentucky (8), Florida (2) and Arkansas (1) have won national championships from the SEC.

The 2024-25 basketball season is the first with Oklahoma and Texas as SEC members. Below are NCAA Tournament Final Four men's basketball appearances all time for every current SEC school.

Tennessee will play in its third Elite Eight game all time on Sunday. The Vols will look to advance to their first NCAA Tournament Final Four appearance in school history. Tennessee will face Houston at 2:20 p.m. EDT at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana (CBS).
