Chelsea star admits ‘I really like to watch’ Barcelona
Chelsea star Marc Cucurella has this week opened up on his appreciation for Hansi Flick’s Barcelona side.
Barca, of course, have spent the season to date establishing themselves as European football’s most explosive attacking outfit.
Under the watch of new boss Flick, the likes of Raphinha and Lamine Yamal have exploded into life, carving opposing backlines open to the tune of three to four goals on a near weekly basis.
Such endeavours have drawn widespread praise, with the Blaugrana looking a side nothing short of reborn when compared to last season.
And as alluded to above, one former member of the youth setup in Catalunya’s capital has this week provided an insight into his personal appreciation for the current Barca outfit.
Speaking during an interview with Relevo, as cited by Diario Sport, Marc Cucurella explained:
“I like to watch Barça. Especially now, this year. They’re a lot of fun to watch. Because a lot of things happen and they play very offensively. I don’t watch them every game, but from time to time I put them on TV and I watch them.”
