Dondrea Tillman will remain with the Denver Broncos in 2025.
Not that there was any doubt, but it became official on Friday when the outside linebacker signed his exclusive rights free agent (ERFA) tender. As an ERFA, Tillman had no leverage in negotiations -- his options were to sign it or sit out the season -- so the signing was a bit of a formality.
Tillman (6-3, 270 pounds) spent three years with the Birmingham Stallions, winning two USFL championships and a UFL title before jumping to the NFL with the Broncos last summer. As a second-year player, Tillman is set to earn $960,000 on his ERFA tender in 2025, an increase from his $741,667 salary last season.
Tillman, who will turn 27 later this month, was a rotational pass rusher in his first season, totaling 23 tackles (five behind the line of scrimmage), seven quarterback hits and five sacks on 242 snaps.
This was the first game in the regular season that Dondrea Tillman introduced himself to #BroncosCountry, carrying over his strong performance during the preseason.

Four other Denver players received one-year ERFA tenders last month: CB Ja'Quan McMillian, TE Lucas Krull, DL Jordan Jackson and DB Devon Key. Those tenders will likely be signed in the coming days as players begin reporting ahead of the start of the offseason program (
