Despite having announced his retirement by the end of the season, Mats Hummels could still be back to playing football in the summer.
According to the German newspaper BILD, the 2010 world champion could wear the Borussia Dortmund jersey again.
Borussia are reportedly working to find a solution that will allow Hummels to play in the Club World Cup, scheduled for next summer in the United States.
Borussia Dortmund is therefore looking for an agreement that will allow the player to participate in the international competition before ending his football career.
