Barcelona star names surprise teammate as ‘best player’ he has played with
Barcelona star Fermín López has this week pointed towards a somewhat surprising fellow member of Hansi Flick’s squad as the very best player whom he has ever lined out alongside.
The player in question? Frenkie de Jong.
Midfielder Fermín is for his part of course currently sharing a dressing room with some of the standout performers in all of world football.
From Pedri to Raphinha, Lamine Yamal and the legendary Robert Lewandowski, Barcelona’s squad is packed to the brim with stellar technicians.
As alluded to above, though, in the eyes of Fermín, none stand out more than midfield partner and long-time Blaugrana star Frenkie de Jong.
Speaking during an interview with Radioestadio Noche this week, Barcelona’s engine room starlet was asked to name the best player whom he has played with to this point in his career.
And Fermín did not hesitate in responding simply with:
“Frenkie de Jong.”
