The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona could open to the sale of an integral member of the club’s frontline, in the case of a sufficient offer arriving.
That’s according to Catalunya Radio, who point towards Raphinha as the player in question.
Wide-man Raphinha is for his part of course in the midst of nothing short of a spectacular individual season to date.
Looking like a player reborn in the free-flowing system employed by Hansi Flick, the Brazilian has established himself as one of the standout performers in all of world football.
All told, across 45 appearances in all competitions this season, Raphinha has notched a whopping 50 direct goal contributions.
And yet, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, the former Leeds United man could nevertheless be made available for transfer, at the right price.
As per the aforementioned Cat Radio, during the latest round of contract negotiations between the parties, Raphinha’s representatives ‘requested higher amounts than those offered by the club’.
It is in turn concluded that:
‘Deco has raised the possibility of a transfer to a club that would pay Raphinha what he would like as long as Barça earns between €80 and 90 million.’
