Auburn basketball's 2024-25 season ended on the biggest stage, but Bruce Pearl and his coaching staff were already paving the way for their next campaign.
Three days before the Tigers' season-ending loss to Florida, they added their first transfer of the 2025 offseason. It was just a drop in the bucket. Not only does Auburn have up to 10 seniors to replace from this year's roster, it didn't land its first transfer until nine days after the portal opened.
"There's no ifs, ands, or buts about it," Auburn associate head coach Steven Pearl said after Saturday's loss. "We're way behind in the portal right now."
