The Georgia Bulldogs offensive line continues to go through injuries. According to Kirby Smart's latest press conference, starting offensive lineman Drew Bobo suffered hyperextension in his knee, although he should be back soon.
"Saturday, I think Drew Bobo had a little bit of a hyperextension of a knee," Smart said, "He should be back shortly. He wasn't able to go today."
Drew Bobo is the son of offensive coordinator Mike Bobo. Bobo plays 224 snaps last year, notably starting as guard once Tate Ratledge went down with injury. Overall, he did relatively solid work, earning a 69.9 grade on PFF. He was a better pass-blocker than run blocker, but he's been looking to improve on his sophomore season and be one of the key returners on Georgia. Bobo is projected to start for Georgia at center this season.
Georgia is undergoing significant change in their offensive line. Starters Tate Ratledge, Jared Wilson, Xavier Truss, and Dylan Fairchild are headed to 2025 NFL draft. Additionally, tackle Monroe Freeling and guard Daniel Calhoun are both out for the spring due to injury. Georgia guard Marques Easley is also suspended.
Georgia's offensive line is looking to improve in 2025, but it will be tough to get better with the group facing so many injuries.
