Georgia baseball ranking ahead of top-five clash

The Georgia Bulldogs baseball team is off to an amazing start to the 2025 college baseball season. Georgia is 28-2 and 8-1 in the SEC, which is the toughest conference in the country. Georgia baseball has won back-to-back SEC series against ranked opponents via sweeps.

The Bulldogs are still ranked No. 3 in the March 31 edition of the USA TODAY Sports baseball coaches poll. Georgia is coming off a sweep of the No. 17 Auburn Tigers.

UGA has the best record in the nation and has one of the country's most potent offenses. Georgia has scored seven runs or more in eight of its nine SEC games. The Dawgs have the most home runs in the country.

Georgia baseball's next game is against Queens at home (Foley Field) on Tuesday, April 1 at 3:00 p.m. ET. Georgia then travels to face the No. 5 Texas Longhorns in the Bulldogs' biggest test yet. Georgia has a three game series against Texas from Friday, April 4 to Sunday, April 6. The Georgia-Texas series will be televised on SEC Network+.
