Another former Bengals player joins Texans in NFL free agency
Former Cincinnati Bengals players really like joining the Houston Texans right now.
Offensive tackle Trent Brown is the latest, with ESPN's Adam Schefter reporting that Brown signed a one-year deal with the Texans worth up to $3 million.
Brown joins Sheldon Rankins, who was cut this month by the Bengals in a cap-saving move and quickly turned around and found a home with the Texans again.
A free-agent signing by the Bengals last offseason in the hopes he could hold down right tackle while rookie Amarius Mims learned, Brown suffered a torn patellar tendon in Week 3 and missed the remainder of the season. Now, the 31-year-old veteran gets a fresh start while Mims fully takes over in Cincinnati.
