All-English Champions League final on cards as last four confirmed

There is an all-English Women's Champions League final on the cards, with Arsenal and Chelsea safely into the last four of the competition.

The semi-final line-up was confirmed on Thursday as Chelsea and Barcelona joined Arsenal and Lyon in the next round.

The two Women's Super League (WSL) sides overturned 2-0 first-leg deficits to continue their run in the competition.

What are the semi-final ties?

Arsenal will play eight-time winners Lyon and come up against former boss Joe Montemurro.

Chelsea play holders Barcelona in a repeat of last season's semi-final.

  • Sunday, 20 April: Barcelona v Chelsea (17:00 BST)
  • Sunday, 27 April: Chelsea v Barcelona (14:00 BST)

How much prize money is up for grabs?

Clubs who make the semi-finals each receive about £150,000.

Should they reach the final, the runner-up gets £166,000 and the winner's prize is £291,000.

This season's final takes place in Lisbon, at the 50,095-capacity Jose Alvalade Stadium, home of men's side Sporting.

It is the second time the showpiece event has been held in Lisbon, after Wolfsburg's 4-3 win over Tyreso at Estadio do Restelo in 2014.
