Does Penn State edge rusher have his eyes set on being a New York Giant? If nothing else, Carter left many wondering if the Giants are his dream situation if not being chosen number one overall following his recent visit with the Giants.
Carter was hosted by the Giants for a predraft meeting as the Giants and other NFL franchises evaluate their options for the upcoming draft. The Giants own the number three pick overall in this year's draft, and Carter is one of the top potential options for the NFC East franchise looking to get back on the winning track moving forward. As Carter visited with the Giants, he shared an image of one of the best all-time Giants players and one of the NFL's all-time great linebackers, Lawrence Taylor. The quote from long-time Giants owner Wellington Mara on the image of Taylor reads "Once a Giant, always a Giant."
This quote and image alone left many to speculate that Carter would love to be a Giant with the draft approaching.

Carter is widely expected to be one of the top three picks off the board in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft. The big decision will come from the Cleveland Browns, who own the second overall pick just ahead of the Giants. With the Tennessee Titans expected to draft a quarterback with the first overall pick, the Browns will have a decision to make in drafting a quarterback or one of the top defensive players on the board. If the Browns go with defense, then Carter could end up in Cleveland. But if the Browns pass on Carter, then the vision of becoming a Giant could become a reality.
A look at some of the recently updated odds predict Carter is the second-most likely option for the Giants at the no. 3 posiiton.
