Several players this offseason have left one NFC West team to land with another. The Seahawks added former 49ers tight end Eric Saubert. These additions always add a little extra to the division games.
Uniform addition for Seahawks in 2025
For those that care about gameday threads for players around the league, this news is for you. This is the 50th season of the Seahawks, as they joined the league as an expansion team in 1976 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Seahawks will wear a 50th season patch this season.
Steven Sims reunites with Mike Macdonald
The Seahawks signed return specialist Steven Sims. Sims previously played for the Baltimore Ravens, where Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald was defensive coordinator.
Nwosu has knee surgery
Uchenna Nwosu had knee surgery this offseason. It is was a minor thing and related to the MCL injury he suffered in the preseason that caused him to miss time in 2024. He agreed to a $7 million paycut to remain with the team.
3 questionable free agent additions
Seahawks Wire's Justin Melo questioned three of the team's free agent moves, and that includes the addition of former Cardinals offensive lineman Josh Jones, drafted by the Cardinals in third round in 2020.
