1 WR the Rams could target each day of the 2025 NFL Draft

Wide receiver is a position the Los Angeles Rams could go in two different directions with in the 2025 NFL Draft.

They could ignore it until the later rounds or entirely because of their current depth with Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington. All four are solid pass-catchers, and the Rams could add more in free agency for little money.

However, the Rams could also add at least one more in the draft to learn behind Nacua and Adams and develop into at least the teams' third option if Atwell leaves in 2026 and Whittington doesn't develop. L.A. could target a receiver as early as the first round too.

While this draft class isn't as deep as years past, the 2025 crop of pass-catchers has a few that could help the Rams in 2025.

Here is one receiver on every day of the 2025 NFL Draft the Rams could look into:

Day 1: Matthew Golden, Texas

Golden could fall into that sweet spot as a late first- or early second-round prospect, which is right around where the Rams will pick unless they trade up. Golden is a fast, productive and has great footwork — the perfect receiver in a Sean McVay offense. He would fill a much-needed role as well with Nacua and Adams on the outside.

Day 2: Xavier Restrepo, Miami

The Rams don't have a true slot receiver after Cooper Kupp's departure, and Atwell and Whittington aren't at the level L.A. needs from that type of player. Restrepo might not be that eventually, either, but he proved in college to be an adept pass-catcher in the short and intermediate areas of the field. If the Rams want an open competition for the Kupp role, Restrepo would be a fine addition to that group.

Day 3: Efton Chism III, Eastern Washington

If the Rams want to tap into the Eastern Washington well again, Chism is a good bet to try and takeover the mantle left behind by Kupp. And, Chism wouldn't cost more than a late-round pick. He's another shorter slot receiver with good hands, precise route-running and can play special teams. It's always good to see an Eastern Washington player on the Rams, too.
