1 TE the Rams can target in each day of the 2025 NFL Draft

Tight end is an area the Los Angeles don't need to address but could use an upgrade.

The position lacked much impact on the offense in 2024 with Tyler Higbee injured for most of the year. His replacements didn't do much, so the Rams could add another young player to that unit as Higbee continues to older.

While the Rams will likely be out of contention for Penn State tight end Tyler Warren, there are few names they should consider throughout the draft.

Here is one tight end the Rams could target in each day of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Day 1: Colston Loveland, Michigan

Loveland would be another solid offensive contributor to the offense after he caught 101 receptions for 1,231 yards and nine touchdowns in the past two seasons. He'd be a luxury pick on the first day of the draft but would add size and a new dimension to the offense they haven't seen since the Higbee injury.

Day 2: Harold Fannin Jr., Bowling Green

If the Rams want a purely pass-catching tight end, Fannin Jr. needs to be a high priority target on Day 2. He led all tight ends in college this past season with 117 receptions for 1,555 yards and also scored 10 games. Fannin Jr. could contribute elsewhere as well, but he would be much better suited as a weapon in this offense.

Day 3: Oronde Gadsden II, Syracuse

Another pass-catching tight end, Gadsden II offers red zone target potential as well as speed as a bigger slot tight end. The biggest gripe against him is his lack of a blocking game, which could relegate him deep down the bench until he adds that skillset to his tool belt.
