Teams can never have too many pass rushers, and the Los Angeles Rams will likely want to add at least one in the 2025 NFL Draft to add to their eclectic collection.
The tandem of Jared Verse and Byron Young on the outside is a great young core, but there's always room for more help at one of the most important positions in the NFL.
This isn't the best pass rush class, but there are a few prospects who fit the bill or could be developmental targets later in the draft.
Here are three edge rushers the Rams could take, one for each day of the draft.
Day 1: Nic Scourton, Texas A&M
Scourton purportedly has an insane spin move, and it helped him tally 15 sacks over the past two seasons for Purdue and then Texas A&M. He’s big (6-foot-4, 285 pounds) and powerful at the line of scrimmage and would give the Rams an added presence on the edge with Verse, Young and Fiske.
Day 2: David Walker, Central Arkansas
Walker is a bit small for an edge rusher at 6-foot-2 and 260 pounds, but his 30 sacks and six forced fumbles in three seasons cannot be scoffed at. If the Rams want to draft on talent alone, Walker could be a Day 2 steal.
Day 3: Ahmed Hassanein, Boise State
Hassanein, who was born in the U.S., spent much of his childhood in Egypt before he returned and learned to play football in 2018. There might be a learning curve to come with that lack of history with the sport, but the 6-foot-3, 270-pounder still put up 22 sacks over the past two seasons at Boise State.
