Trump wins Wyoming
Former President Trump has won Wyoming in the 2024 presidential race, according to a projection from The Hill/Decision Desk HQ.
Trump won the state in 2016 and 2020 — beating his Democratic opponent by about 45 percentage points both cycles. Wyoming has three votes in the Electoral College.
In recent years, Wyoming has been in the national spotlight as former Rep. Liz Cheney (R) has become one of the most outspoken critics of the former president. She endorsed Vice President Harris.
Recently in Arizona, Trump criticized the daughter of Vice President Dick Cheney, calling for a rifle “with nine barrels” to be “shooting at her” while slamming her foreign policy stances.
These remarks provoked widespread backlash from Democrats, even prompting an investigation from the Arizona attorney general about whether the comments constitute death threats under state law.
Wyoming has voted for the Republican presidential candidate since 1964.
