Season 2 of Marvel Rivals has arrived, bringing the new Hellfire Gala season and the new Vanguard, Emma Frost. There are also new maps, team-ups, and cosmetics to earn, as well as a new battle pass. Marvel Rivals battle passes never expire, and include 10 skins, amongst other cosmetic rewards. This season includes multiple Hellfire Gala skins--with more presumably coming to the shop--along with some other skins, like the classic Retro X-Uniform skins for Psylocke and Magik. There are also some free Namor cosmetics available via Twitch Drops.
Marvel Rivals battle passes cost $10 for the premium version, and include 600 of both Lattice, the paid currency, and Units, the in-game earnable currency, both of which can be used to unlock new skins in the shop. The premium battle pass includes several Hellfire Gala skins, including the Red Runway Veil Black Widow, Joe Fixit Hulk, Star Spangled Style Captain America, and Dance Partner Cloak and Dagger. There are also a few one-off skins, including the Dancing Petals Spider-Man, Nut Rocker Squirrel Girl, and Nolaehaneun.
In addition to the skins, there are also a number of MVP intros, sprays, name plates, and emotes in the battle pass, most of which are for the characters with skins in the battle pass. If you purchase the premium version, you can trade 1,000 Chrono Tokens--the battle pass currency--for 100 Units, so long as you redeem every item in the battle pass first. While Emma Frost doesn't have anything in the battle pass for her launch, she does have an X-Revolution skin bundle in the shop. Like all Marvel Rivals heroes, Emma Frost is free.
