Dailyn Swain, who played two seasons for Sean Miller and the Xavier Musketeers before entering the NCAA transfer portal late last month, is joining Miller and the Texas Longhorns, according to multiple reports Tuesday, including from ESPN's Jonathan Givony.
Swain, from Columbus, Ohio, reportedly planned a visit to Kentucky and considered the Ohio State Buckeyes. He entered the portal shortly after news that Miller was leaving XU for Texas.
Swain averaged 11 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 28.5 minutes per game as a sophomore for the Muskies. He averaged 4.6 points and 3 rebounds in 18.9 minutes per game as a freshman.
Swain scored 11 points in XU's NCAA tournament First Four win against the Longhorns in Dayton. He scored a team-high 27 points and added eight rebounds in the Muskies' Round of 64 loss to Illinois.
Richard Pitino was introduced Tuesday as XU's new head coach. He's reportedly received a commitment from former New Mexico forward Filip Borovicanin.
