Severe weather halted TSSAA baseball and soccer throughout most of last week around the Jackson area.

Several teams were able to get games in last week. It's time to vote for who was best last week using the image at the end of this story. Fans are able to vote for the Jackson area boys athlete of the week once per hour until the poll closes at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 10.

Congratulations to Adamsville baseball's Ayden McGee, who won last week's poll with 12,344 (48.5%) of 25,499 votes, beating out McNairy Central's Case Stone by just over 2,000 votes.

Here are this week's nominees for the Jackson area boys athlete of the week.

Cade Allen, South Gibson baseball: Allen, a Tennessee baseball commit, struck out 14 batters in a 2-0 win over Obion County on Tuesday.

Tommy Baker, South Gibson baseball: Baker drove in five runs on five hits, including a double and a triple, in the Hornets’ 13-0 win over Obion County (5 innings) on Monday.

Dylan Brauer, Bradford baseball: Brauer struck out 12 batters in five innings of one-hit ball in a 7-2 win over Clarksburg on Monday.

Landon Carter, Dresden baseball: Carter struck out 11 batters and recorded two RBIs and a hit in the Lions’ 10-0 win over Gleason on Tuesday.

Anderson Cary, Westview baseball: Cary struck out 12 batters in a 15-5 win over Ripley (6 innings) on Tuesday.

Whitten Dobbs, Milan baseball: Dobbs recorded three hits and scored the walk-off run in a 10-0 win over Gibson County (5 innings) on Monday.

Lane Estes, Chester County baseball: Estes totaled three hits and three RBIs in a 10-6 win over Lexington on Monday.

Ryder Harville, Hardin County baseball: Harville, a MTSU signee, struck out 14 batters in a dominant complete game in a 5-1 win over South Side on Monday.

Silas Howard, Scotts Hill baseball: Howard totaled four RBIs and a hit, including a three-run double, in the Lions’ 10-1 win over Riverside on Monday.

JT Mullins, Jackson Christian baseball: Mullins recorded three RBIs on two hits in a 15-2 win over USJ on Tuesday and recorded a hit and RBI in Monday’s 5-3 win over USJ.

JP Noblin, Dyersburg baseball: Noblin struck out eight batters in a four-inning no-hitter, adding three hits and a RBI, in a 15-0 win over Haywood (4 innings) on Tuesday.

Max Richardson, TCA baseball: Richardson drove in four runs with two hits and struck out seven batters in a 15-1 win over Bolivar on Monday.

Landon Willis, Dyer County baseball: Willis racked up a staggering 15 strikeouts in a 3-2 win over Crockett County on Tuesday.

Easton Wyatt, Westview baseball: Wyatt recorded four RBIs on three hits in the Chargers’ 15-5 win over Ripley (6 innings) on Tuesday.

Ian Wyatt, Madison baseball: Wyatt racked up five RBIs on three hits, including a double and a triple, in the Mustangs’ 16-1 win over Liberty (4 innings) on Tuesday.
