Where are the Titans ranked in free agency spending?

It's been five days since the start of the 2025 NFL free agency period, and the frenzy has started to die down. The Tennessee Titans were active early in free agency, bringing in some new talent and retaining others. Mike Borgonzi and Chad Brinker have done well with their spending, despite the grumbles about Dan Moore's contract, and rank near the middle-of-the-pack with the rest of the NFL in how much they've spent.

Over the Cap ranks the Titans 14th in the NFL in spending through the first week of free agency. Spending just over $134 million in total, the Titans have just $30 million in full guarantees with $80 million in total guarantees.

Compare that with the Minnesota Vikings, who have spent $245 million with $142 million in total guarantees and $122 million in full guarantees. The majority of the Vikings' spending is on the defensive side of the ball, although adding Aaron Jones and Will Fries upgraded their offense.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have spent the least amount of money so far, spending almost $31 million with $19 million in both total and full guarantees. The vast majority of that money was spent on bringing in D.K. Metcalf so that whoever the Steelers eventually sign to be their quarterback has someone to throw the ball to.

Free agency is far from over and the 2025 NFL draft is right around the corner. The Titans still have needs, and, so far, it seems like Borgonzi and Brinker are handling the finances fairly well. With over $55 million in cap space remaining, the Titans have options.
