What promotions are Louisville's professional sports teams offering in 2025?

With the arrival of spring, baseball and soccer season has arrived in Louisville and there are plenty of events in 2025 to bring people out to Louisville Slugger Field and Lynn Family Stadium for more than just a game or two.

From Easter egg hunts, Halloween parties and a special night dedicated to all things yacht rock, the Louisville Bats and the city's two soccer clubs are ready to entertain fans with plenty of fun for the whole family.

Louisville Bats

Baseball fans can take part in a number of weekly promotions at Slugger Field throughout the 2025 season, like Taco Tuesday and Kids Day on Sundays, but there are a couple one-time events you will not want to miss. They include:

  • Thunder Over Louisville — Saturday, April 12
  • Pickle(ball) Appreciation Night — Friday, April 25
  • Star Wars Night — Saturday, April 26
  • Halfoween — Saturday, May 24
  • Yacht Rock Night — Friday, June 6
  • Welcome to Louisville (Buddy’s Version) Night — Friday, June 20
  • Mash & Bash Night — Saturday, July 19
  • Hops & Hounds Night — Friday, Sept. 5

New for 2025, the Taylor Swift-inspired "Welcome to Louisville (Buddy’s Version) Night" is a celebration of the pop star "with a little twist" from mascot Buddy Bat. A Swift-themed fireworks show will cap off the night, according to the Bats.

Louisville City FC

Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville FC unveil an exclusive apparel capsule collection in collaboration with acclaimed Louisville-based rock band My Morning Jacket.

Louisville City is looking to score a lot of goals in front of its hometown fans, but that's not only thing going on at Lynn Family Stadium on game nights. The team has a calendar full of promotions this seasons. Here are several to consider in 2025:

  • Pups at the Pitch — Saturday, May 10
  • Pride Night — Saturday, June 7
  • Youth Sports Night — Wednesday, June 11
  • Salute to Heroes Night — Saturday, Aug. 2
  • Teacher Appreciation Night — Saturday, Aug. 23
  • Noche Latina — Saturday, Sept. 20
  • Keep Louisville Weird Night — Saturday, Oct. 11
  • Trick-or-Treat Night — Saturday, Oct. 25

Lou City is also starting a new tradition this season during its May 1 matchup with in-state rival Lexington SC. With the game set for the Thursday of Derby Week, attendees with a Pegasus Pin will be eligible for discounted tickets. The "Rivalry Night" game is set to start at 8 p.m.

Racing Louisville FC
