Chloe Spreen joins an Indiana women's basketball team that is fully rebuilding under coach Teri Moren. The 2024 IndyStar Miss Basketball for Bedford North Lawrence spent her freshman season at Alabama but played little.
IU's backcourt is thin after graduate losses (Chloe Moore-McNeil, Sydney Parrish) and transfers (Lexus Bargesser, Yarden Garzon, Julianna LaMendola, Henna Sandvik). Shay Ciezki (11.8 points, 39.2% 3-pointers) is expected to return, Lenee Beaumont missed the season an injury and Valentyna Kadlecova played little. Spreen should have an opportunity to compete for playing time.
