It’s time to vote for the standout high school performer of the week for the Central Wisconsin area.
The Menke GMC Athlete of the week poll for April 6-13 is now open until noon Thursday.
Choose which high school performer you think stands out and shined brightest from a field of high-performing student-athletes.
Tomas Uemura, Pacelli baseball: Uemura helped lead Pacelli to a win over Regis on April 12 cashing in four runs in Pacelli’s 14-4 win over Regis.
Rayanne Clendenning, Iola-Scandinavia softball: Clendenning pitched the distance to earn the win, allowing only four hits, no walks while striking out 13 batters.
Alana Schoen, Marshfield track and field: Schoen placed first for Marshfield in the girls long jump relay on April 10.
Chris Sippl, Wittenberg-Birnamwood baseball: Sippl pitched six innings for Wittenberg-Birnamwood only relenting two runs and striking out seven.
Amelia Castleberg, SPASH girls soccer: Castleberg led the Panthers to a 7-0 win over Shawano with a game-high of six personal goals.
Maya Munoz, Iola-Scandinavia softball: Munoz notched two hits and drove in four runs in Iola-Scandinavia’s win over Nekoosa.
Bella Thomas, Assumption: Thomas won the girls 100-meter dash with a 1:06.17 time at the Marawood Conference Indoor invitational.
