You can choose who will be the next athlete to be named the Guardian Foundation Repair's girls athlete of the week in the Knoxville area.

This week's candidates include a list of eight high school varsity softball players with games played between April 7-12.

Here are this week's candidates.

Brianna Baker, Gibbs: Baker was 2-fo-2 with an RBI and a stolen base in a 16-1 win over Union City last Friday.

Portlyn Bennett, Heritage: Bennett was 2-for-2 with two home runs and four RBIs in a win over Bearden last Wednesday.

Bella Brummit, Anderson County: Brummit was 4-for-5 with a home run, two doubles and four RBIs in an 8-7 loss to Powell last Monday. She was was 3-for-5 with three RBIs in an 8-7 win over Union County last Tuesday, and was 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI in a 7-6 win over Tipton-Rosemark last Friday.

The Guardian Foundation Repair Knoxville Area Athlete of the Week.

Tori Hahn, Alcoa: Hahn was 4-for-4 with a double and four RBIs in a 10-0 win over Farragut last Wednesday.

Makaylie Hutchison, Halls: Hutchison was 2-for-3 with an RBI in a 4-2 win over Green Hill last Saturday.

Gabby Kraatz, Powell: Kraatz was 3-for-5 with two home runs and three RBIs in a win over Anderson County last Monday.

Ava Malone, Grace Christian Academy: Malone was 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and two RBIs in a 17-0 win over Concord Christian last Monday.

Makenna Wright, Seymour: Wright was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs in a win over Gatlinburg-Pittman last Friday.
