The Sarasota Herald-Tribune recently announced the 12 athletes selected for the 2025 All-Area Girls Weightlifting Team for the Sarasota-Manatee High School Sports Awards presented by Sarasota Ford.
During the live show being held on Friday, May 30, at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, these nominees will be honored and the winner of the Herald-Tribune Girls Weightlifter of the Year announced. All-Area athletes in each sport will be honored, and the finalists and winner of the Sarasota-Manatee Player of the Year awards will be announced.
In addition, Athlete of the Week winners, top teams, coaches, and overall athletes will be honored as will a Courage Award winner. All nominated athletes who RSVP will receive complimentary tickets to the event thanks to sponsors. To register or buy tickets, CLICK HERE
The Sarasota-Manatee Sports Awards Show is part of the USA TODAY High School Sports Awards, the largest high school sports recognition program in the country.
