Their time is now. The 10 candidates for the Daily News Fans Girls Wrestler of the Year distinguished themselves as some of the best in the state and stood up against the nation's best.
They range in age and experience but all showed what it takes to succeed on the met. The candidates represent seven schools. Framingham leads the way with three choices, and Milford has two.
