View the highlights from Texas A&M's series win over No. 1 Tennessee

College baseball witnessed its first major upset of the season when Texas A&M defeated No.1 Tennessee in a doubleheader on Saturday after being shut out and held hitless on Friday night. The win was the Aggies' first SEC series win and could be a turning point that gives them the momentum to push for a postseason berth.

The Aggies' schedule going forward doesn't get any easier, but to take a series away against the top team in the nation after getting run-ruled the day before will be the season's highlight. In a tumultuous inaugural season for Michael Earley and with all the rumblings on the internet about needing to move on, this series has been the signature win that's been eluding them this year.

The unexpected offensive explosion on Saturday stood in stark contrast to the previous trend of the season. This increase in performance was anticipated in the preseason when the Aggies were viewed as the unanimous No. 1 and the favorites for the College World Series. While it might be too late to achieve enough wins for postseason eligibility, a strong finish to the season could foster renewed hope for the future of the program under Coach Earley.

Texas A&M will host Sam Houston at 6:00 pm. CT. The game will be available to stream on ESPN+.
