Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo is a reliable presence on the pitch and off it as a solid guy to speak to the cameras, and even though he isn’t usually first choice, he was thrown into action and then into media duties last night.
His team got a disappointing draw, but he looked at the positives. As a defender he’s happy with his side’s improvements in staying solid:
“It’s a tough ground to come to, so to come away with a clean sheet and a point is a positive we can take,” Tosin said.
“They’re an end to end team, they get 11 men behind the ball and they attack first. Back to back clean sheets, it’s always important and it’s going to be very important for these last few games… We got to Warsaw to try and get a result there and push on in that competition.”
He also hailed the away support who were loud throughout.
“Amazing support, even at the end where they were clapping and signing for us even though we got a draw when we were looking for 3 points.

Thomas Frank says Chelsea deserved to lose
Brentford coach Thomas Frank had pretty much the opposite opinion of Tosin. He pointed out that his team had the better chances and should have won:
“I felt we performed well and felt that we were clearly on top in the first half, had the better opportunities and probably should have scored,” the Bees manager said.
“The second half was definitely more even; they were on the ball more. Throughout the game we defended very well and limited Chelsea to half a chance for [Reece] James on a corner.”
