No. 1 Tennessee (25-2, 7-1 SEC) will play for a series sweep Sunday at South Carolina (17-11, 1-7 SEC). The Vols clinched a series win Saturday with a, 7-5, victory over South Carolina.
Sunday's series finale was slated for 5 p.m. EDT at Founders Park in Columbia, South Carolina. First pitch between the Vols and Gamecocks is now scheduled for noon EDT due to a threat of inclement weather later in the day.
Sunday's game No. 3 was originally scheduled to be televised by SEC Network and can now be watched on SEC Network+.
Tennessee also won the series opener, 11-7, at South Carolina on Friday.
Saturday's win marked a sixth consecutive series victory for Tennessee over the Gamecocks, and also extended the Vols' streak of SEC series victories to 12 straight, a program record.
Saturday's game No. 2 win also marked Tennessee's first victory in 2025 when trailing after seven innings.
