The Oklahoma City Thunder have a strong hold on the first seed. That's been the case for most of the season, with a double-digit game lead in the standings. There's been little drama for most of the year on whether they'll repeat as the top seed.

The Thunder return to action tonight when they host the Philadelphia 76ers. Both squads will rest most of their starters and top rotation players for differents. For the Thunder, it's to gain extra rest. For the Sixers, it's in hopes of keeping their top-six protected pick.

Less than a month remains in the 2024-25 regular season. Even though the Thunder aren't involved, plenty of heated races for seeding have ramped up as the margin for error gets thinner. Thunder Wire will conduct daily updates on the West's standings until the season ends:

What happened last night?

Warriors 104, Bucks 93: The Warriors shut down the Bucks' offense. Jimmy Butler had a near 24-point triple-double. Milwaukee shot below 40% from the field.

Clippers 132, Cavaliers 119: In one of their biggest wins of the season, the Clippers handed the Cavaliers their 12th loss of the season. Kawhi Leonard went off for 33 points. Ivica Zubac logged a monster 28-point and 20-rebound double-double. James Harden had 22 points.
