Updated Mar. 14 West playoff standings for Thunder after win over Celtics
The Oklahoma City Thunder have a strong hold on the first seed. That's been the case for most of the season, with a double-digit game lead in the standings. There's been little drama for most of the year on whether they'll repeat as the top seed.
The Thunder are amid a rare two-day break. It's the first time since the All-Star break that they've had multiple days off. Last time out, they beat the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. They get back on the court Saturday against the Detroit Pistons.
Less than a month remains in the 2024-25 regular season. Even though the Thunder aren't involved, plenty of heated races for seeding have ramped up as the maeing for error gets thinner. Thunder Wire will conduct daily updates on the West's standings until the season ends:
What happened last night?
Bucks 126, Lakers 106: The Lakers continue to miss LeBron James. Without him, Luka Doncic can only do so much by himself. He had an efficient 45 points, but Milwaukee led for almost the entire contest.
Warriors 130, Kings 104: The Warriors have been one of the hottest teams since the All-Star break. A blowout win over the Kings extends their win streak to six in a row. It was an all-around effort as eight Golden State players scored double-digit points.
