Despite the lopsided score, the Canucks were the stronger team from an analytics perspective. Vancouver held a 36-12 even-strength scoring chances advantage and won the even-strength high-danger scoring chances battle 14-5. In the end, though, Joey Daccord held strong, stopping all 24 shots he faced.

As for the heatmap, it shows how the Kraken were able to take advantage of their opportunities. The Canucks allowed only four high-danger shots, but also allowed three goals off rush opportunities. In the end, this was a frustrating game, not just for the players on the ice but also for the fans at Rogers Arena.

To wrap things up, Vancouver's top forward line was the trio of Linus Karlsson, Nils Åman and Jonathan Lekkerimäki. During their 7:07 of ice time, the Canucks held a 5-1 scoring chances advantage, while recording an xGF% of 85.70. Overall, this line played well and, more importantly, won their matchup.
