Stockton Ports opening day starts at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at the Banner Island Ballpark with the first home game of the season against the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.
Tuesday is also Fireworks Night, presented by Black Oak Casino Resort.
"Light up your Saturdays with spectacular fireworks at Banner Island Ballpark!" the Minor League Baseball website states. "Join us after the game for an electrifying display that will leave you in awe. Don't miss the magic!"
On the same day, there will also be a magnet scheduled giveaway to the "first 1,500 fans" presented by Lucas Business Systems, the website states.
Stockton Ports opening week goes through Sunday, April 13, with six home games against the minor league baseball team affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Stockton Ports are celebrating the team's 20th anniversary this 2025 season with a 20th-anniversary logo.
“The 20th season of professional baseball at Banner Island Ballpark is something all stakeholders should celebrate and be proud of,” Ports President Pat Filippone said in a news release. “The Stockton Ports are appreciative and will recognize during the season fans, partners, sponsors, baseball officials and City of Stockton and San Joaquin County officials. We look forward to thanking everyone at the ballpark!”
The logo will be on many "exclusive merchandise, special giveaways, and additional commemorative activities," in celebration of the anniversary, the news release states.
“Celebrating the 20th season at Banner Island Ballpark is an amazing reminder of both the memories we've made and the excitement that still lies ahead,” Ports General Manager Jordan Feneck said in the news release. “The Stockton Ports are committed to always providing our fans and our community with affordable family fun. We extend our deepest gratitude to the city of Stockton, our ticket holders, our sponsors, and our employees for their incredible support over the years - without them, none of this would be possible.“
