In the first quarter against the Portland Trail Blazers, the Golden State Warriors received a serious scare with the start of the postseason looming. After appearing to hurt his hand in the opening frame, All-Star point guard Steph Curry exited the game with an apparent injury.
Curry appeared to jam his hand and thumb area against Portland defender Justin Minaya. After shaking his hand, Curry exited the game and went from the sideline to the locker room. Curry later returned for the remainder of the game with his right hand being wrapped with some tape.
The veteran guard finished the game with 14 points on 6-of-14 shooting from the field with five assists, five rebounds and a block in 27 minutes during Golden State's 103-86 win in Portland.
